Falla Na Jordana

"Passion adrift"

Artist: Mario Gual.

Prize: 3rd Special Section.

Cost: 185.000 Euros.

"A loving journey through love, passion and redemption from the deep sea of feelings and emotions.

Act I. The Lighthouse of Love. A seafaring expedition sets out in search of the luminous lighthouse, a symbol of true love. A young sailor, captivated by the beauty of a mermaid, falls in love with her instantly.
Act II. The boarding of passion. Not all is peaceful. The ship is destroyed and only the lovelorn sailor survives, adrift at sea. There is confusion and pain.
Act III. From the abyss. The mermaid gives him back life and hope. Together they emerge to the surface, in a seaside town where love has found its harbor.
Neptune observes the world of feelings, surrounded by three wise mermaids. The map shows the path to finding love: trust, patience, overcoming pride, and understanding. "

The sea is endless ems, where the artist wants to take us.
The sea. It is shipwrecks, myths, where passions delve, passions that have endured through writing.
It is also the redemptions that have not conquered the wave, despite having hit rock bottom.

To reach safe harbor
They've boarded a ship brimming with hope, for all four are novices, and brave, of course. Jose Vicente, Nuria, and Paco, along with Kike, are at the helm, and they're making their way little by little... across this (blue) sea.
They will surely have unforgettable experiences, as well as some hardships... which they will have to overcome. Na Jordana is no exception, as it depends on subsidies, and ultimately, it's a struggle... to avoid hitting rock bottom. The community center is the refuge that awaits good sailors, and it's also a good hiding place... or a safe haven for warriors.
The journey is very long, usually lasting a whole year, and can sometimes be bitter...for shelter is not always available. They will need skill to take over from Pedro the eldest, to overcome the news...and remain as strong as before. The waters are quite rough, and they will have to take the helm to overcome certain obstacles...with strength, wisdom, and enthusiasm.

The lighthouse of love
The lighthouse guides them in their search for the powerful feeling that comforts them in life, and sometimes even transcends death. It is the truest love: the purest and most luminous, which, despite being vulnerable, is also the most rewarding.
He sails on, weary and ready to give up hope, but fortune has saved him.
The seasoned sailor seeks solace in life, in this uncertain place... of the boundless sea.
A lifetime spent chasing true love, he has crossed five seas and lands, pursuing his dream.
In an instant, he has finally seen her, and it is she, and it is the most delightful encounter, both making a good couple.

The boarding of passion
Such a colossal monster has emerged from the storm, with truly sinister intentions and immense strength...of its tentacles and the rest.
It's a simile of love where not everything is joyful, even if you proceed with tact, you will have sorrows and pain... because they form "the contract."
The dangers of passion are present here, fighting against the elements, such as jealousy or possessiveness, or other heavy sufferings.
The ship is scrapped and swallows the crew, except for the sailor, of course, who, despite the rough seas, survives the expedition.

The kiss of the surface
The mermaid who rises from the abyss and rescues the sailor from his restlessness, from a deceitful life, from a pain in his chest, from fighting alone, full of selfishness.
Despite the rough seas, he finally finds the port he has earned through a long struggle, and a laugh appears on his face, for having saved his life, with a bit of luck..
The mermaid approaches him and kisses him, and suddenly his heart is filled with joy. He has love now, no nightmare disturbs him, and now he lives with joy, savoring his triumph.

Neptune
King Neptune, lord of the foam, omnipotently rules the sea, cradle of the blues, and perfumes them as well.
And he guides with vehement strength, making those strong and brave sailors endure love and sorrow.
Benevolent with the condemnations of lovers, he takes them as a father does, and takes away their fears, punishments, and sorrows.

The mermaids
She loves our language and writing poetry, and that's no joke... because it's a mix of feelings. Being able to do what you love is a joy, like winning the lottery, and writing with careful passion is like dreaming of love and utopia.
The other mermaid is honest, and the inkwell represents her, for life is a feat where the sincere always win. Being consistent and reliable is a very worthy virtue; this mermaid is likely... good and not at all malicious.

The mermaids
This other one shows her a map that marks stages of the heart, while also revealing...that there are doubts, just as there is fear. Ultimately, it's like a guide to more mature love, which includes sanity, being a good person, and a shared vision for the future.

Pulling the letters
From the depths emerges this fish, this beast, guarding the beautiful Tirant, full of pride and immodesty. Suddenly, we see the abyssal darkness resurrected, and transformed into animal life... from the written word.
The pages of Tirant do as a cradle for the children, this gigantic book... that holds intimate secrets. The mother gazes at the portraits of her beautiful and beloved children, and reads them tales of Tirant's exploits... of love, battles, and dangers. Martorell's texts are ours, so human, and are like a litany... to ensure rest.
The chivalric epic hidden within the writing, with its novelistic plot... from the exquisite "Golden Age." Other books brimming with the sea, to which we dedicate this work, must be revisited... to enjoy and celebrate them. The word never sinks and transforms many lives; it provides great wisdom, if you know how to find the way out.

A sea of sayings: Valencian sayings
The Fallera Mayor stands out and shines at every event, and the artist's wallet...is usually left speechless..
Hidden away in the workshop, he spends the year making the falla, without the first one noticing that he's losing money, but he keeps quiet.
Matilde and Clotilde are talking about a matter that is not trivial; neither of them knows whether the accent goes here or there.

Enric Valor and the monster. Valor against spelling mistakes.
True to his surname, Enric Valor aptly defends, and with the pen he begins, renowned "Rondalles" (folk ballads). But he has a formidable adversary: the sea monster, which represents the locals, putting us through a grave ordeal.
The most famous "Rondalles" are riddled with errors, so badly written they offend the eyes, you avoid them because they are vulgar and disgusting. Each mistake is like a blow to our culture, and a sign of the boundless contempt of those who bark louder than a dog.
In the end, they don't care much for our Valencian language, and they write it half-heartedly... they want us to play their game. We must have appreciation and courage to uphold the word, and put it on the table, for it is our greatest treasure. Let us write rigorously, as the Academy dictates. We at Na Jordana use it with love.

At the top of the back, a bouquet to this distinguished writer, who represents the "gay" world and claims it at all times..
They have been largely hidden because of their sexual orientation, as well as censored, without having done any harm.
Some changed their names to a male pseudonym, and that was as tiresome as... swallowing a load of rubbish..
The large feather, dyed here, is a symbol of diversity, of being able to choose life...free esteem with equality.
Tears of ink fall from the pen, full of love, from so many souls... who have sought a better world.
Tears become verses: poems full of emotions, from the deepest universes, and overflowing passions.

Written in letters of gold: sonnet to words.
From the ashes of the fallas only rubble or fables remain, but a treasure of discoveries are always our words.
Despite so much beauty, what remains in the end? No golden ornaments remain, nor rich antique dresses.

Luis Cernuda and Vicente Aleixandre.

Luis Cernuda.
The pinnacle of poetry and the most human of feelings, Cernuda, with his melancholy, now passes from hand to hand.
Cernuda also suffered for being a homosexual man, and time would recognize... his brutal sensitivity.

Alberti, Gloria Fuertes, Juan Ramón Jiménez.

falla na jordana 2026

Vicente Blasco Ibáñez.

falla na jordana 2026

Vicente Andrés Estellés

Alberti and Gloria Fuertes light our way, just like Vicente Aleixandre, so present then and now.
Gloria Fuertes was free and loved freely; when she wrote, she always did so with great dignity.
"The dove made a mistake," and Alberti didn't fail; he dignified the language, which Serrat then set soaring.

Juan Ramón Jimenez.
He was a poet of great stature and a prose writer of great skill, a Nobel laureate in Literature... the author of "Platero and I".
He was a very sensitive man and a universal Andalusian, a founder of Modernism; Juan Ramón is essential.
Reading all these "monsters" broadens our horizons, for their verses never seem to have a ceiling, so profound are they.

Vicente Blasco Ibáñez.
Blasco Ibáñez was a pioneer, a prolific and visionary writer, and even signed by Hollywood, with extraordinary worldwide success.
From the newspaper "El Pueblo", which he founded, fighting against the injustices of his time, with his republican ideology that he defended, it brought him bitterness, serious setbacks.
Sixty years of life, well spent, with works such as: "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" or "Reeds and Mud", "Blood and Sand", "The Cathedral" or "Among Orange Trees", made Blasco, among other things, a great name.
It was an international bestseller, and he became famous abroad thanks to silent films. After his death, the Franco regime silenced him...and he faded into obscurity, a very unjust price to pay.

Vicente Andrés Estellés.
"You will assume the voice of a people," Vicent said solemnly, "and you will forever be one of the people, one among many, not at all arrogant.
From that old church, playing in the courtyard of San Roque, you were writing the poem...of your town, Burjassot..
Your past sufferings testify that you suffered more than you enjoyed, but you won the battle against the devil, and you loved the land that saw you born.
You always said the right word like Ausiàs, so full of wisdom, full of love and always so raw, that it grew strong, like rent does.

Within the sea, like a sanctuary, three towering men stand out, all three extraordinary, searching for words.
Also, two women from Valencia, from distant eras, who stood out with power, like the strength of a fist.

Isabel de Villena.

Ausias March.

falla na jordana 2026

María Beneyto.

Isabel de Villena (XV century).
Isabel was the first known female poet in the Valencian language, so this tribute in Na Jordana is no surprise.
From the Convent of the Trinity she performed a task of great mastery, gaining true fame...inside and out, for she was abbess.
In her writings, women are the protagonists, and that path had a great influence, spreading her writings here during her lifetime, without ever leaving her Valencia again.
She not only found success in the convent but also external admiration for her work, and a great milestone, "Vita Christi" was... which forever dignified Isabel de Villena.

Ausias March.
He was the creator of "Veles e vents", a gentleman of good lineage, who masterfully wrote very powerful love poems.
In the "Golden Age" of our poetry, Ausiàs was undoubtedly the greatest, for his poetry consists of songs...filled with wisdom, faith, and rebellion.
Leaving aside the style of the troubadours, he dedicated his verses to women, those he loved for being good, and who filled his heart with nostalgia.
With the "Spiritual Song" Ausiàs reached the pinnacle of medieval literature, a unique, long, exceptional poem...to follow the path of God, always sincere.
He sang to death, also present, with existential verses, full of mourning, but which took flight with his art, and made mention of the irreparable loss.
That's why Ausiàs "occupies the throne" of the greatest poet, without question. That's why many places bear the name of this important poet from Beniarjó.

María Beneyto. (poet and free woman)
A multifaceted and generous poet who used both languages, Maria Beneyto was a rose that burst into bloom in the middle of the 20th century.
A rebellious and unclassifiable poet, who wrote without any limitations, and with the indomitable word... made her way with her determination.
Last year marked a century since this poet was born in Valencia, and her legacy, despite being by no means weak, remains hidden, as if of secret origin.
Her work will live on forever, like her novel "The Strong Woman," and with it her legacy, which was joyful, just like the work itself, which will never remain dead.

Required reading
Sánchez pilots this patched-up ship, where he encounters too many "cases," and where he cannot find peace.
Beneath turbulent waters within an underwater journey, fighting against his destiny, of twenty thousand evil leagues.
Begoña, Dana, corruption...and Ábalos as the protagonist, with Cerdán at the top of the list, too "dwarfs" to question.

Ayuso and Feijóo love and hate each other in equal measure; to put it bluntly, they don't hold back an ounce.
Like Gabriel García Márquez's "Love in the Time of Cholera," Feijoó is left with marks, because IDA is a she-wolf.

The three Catalan parties hold the key to the purse strings, and they're not giving Sánchez any discounts... neither now nor before.
Just like "The Three Musketeers," Puigdemont, from Brussels, is making a lot of money move...because he holds the key to the government.

Yolanda Díaz wants to resolve the issue of the budgets, which also doesn't have cheap costs, this business of helping the poor.
In "Sumar" the mathematics never quite add up, they often seem utopian... despite being so democratic.

VOX completely disregards the law senselessly ignoring the laws in this way.
They haven't read the "Magna Carta" and their shameful speech, about the climate, or immigrants, doesn't matter if someone is unenthusiastic.

A sea of tears
The four-headed crab is a truly grotesque creature, adept at doing evil, amidst a Dantean war. The genocide in Gaza, so cruel and overwhelming, and Netanyahu, who devastates... thousands of lives without fear.
Netanyahu is the crab that's unraveling Palestine, and Donald Trump says for free that he even has power over China! Perhaps the most dangerous thing is Trump: a fool, because there's no one like him, with a boastful attitude. Kim Jong-un disagrees and wants to get involved too, from North Korea...and he's keeping pace with them by arming them.

The mayor, so cunning, misspelled "Vixca" with an X, following "party rules"...where the Academy doesn't shine.
They manipulate the rules to grab votes, despite the error—they know it—they take advantage of the apathetic.
With a face like the cobblestones so common in the world of Fallas, she crosses out the prize she so desperately wants... while filling her chest with medals.

She boils the bills she has to pay in the pot, and drowns in a sea...because she doesn't even have a piggy bank.
The children ask for bread with apparent joy, and they say it in Valencian...as if they were expecting to win the lottery.
The "M" of March 8th is a precise anniversary, which honors those problems, of the submissive woman.

The doctor writes the prescription in a way that no one understands, and the fallero, from side to side, is aroused by the prescription.
A brand-name suppository that's definitely not bad, a first-prize winner, it emphasizes... leaving even your butt feeling soft.
