"In 1923 the Pontifical Coronation of the Virgen de los Desamparados was celebrated. The coronation procession stood out.

On the centenary of this event, the falla commemorates this historic event through its protagonists, the most unique acts and the most outstanding moments.

Among all the festivities that took place a hundred years ago, the great Coronation procession stood out, a procession made up of eleven allegorical floats. One of these floats, designed by the sculptor Vicent Benedito, was a large-scale reproduction of the crown that had been given to the Virgin, and was entitled 'Valencia makes the Crown'.
Next to this float parades a large procession made up of popular figures and distinguished representatives of civil and religious society, as well as residents of the city who with their donations made the crown possible."
