Goblins
There are mysterious beings that go almost unnoticed due to their size. We notice their presence, but it is difficult for us to see them and they have the craze of moving things around at home. They are the Goblins, who are very small and always have time to be noticed. They are so funny!

Goblins
They go around with the Buitoni, but their fun is stealing gold, jewels and moving things around in houses.

The souls in purgatory
There are other beings who are spirits from another world, such as the Souls in Purgatory, who roam the world of the living and we can only see them on the night of the souls. Put on the glasses they are coming!

Monsters
As my granny used to tell me, when the sun goes down, we have to go to bed early because in those hours we can find monsters and ghosts everywhere, emerging from the darkness of the night.

Among the shadows, the Buitoni appears, a monster that always haunts the city and Horta with the intention of giving a good scare to whoever crosses his path. And attention, if he is a child better than better.

But there are others that are more scary, such as the Quarantamaula, the demon that sometimes appears like a cat on the rooftops watching over the little ones while they sleep. Don't forget to close the windows at bedtime!

Buitoni
When he is not partying with the round, the thing that he likes the most is doing misdeeds and frightening the children who go along the paths of the orchard.

The man with the noses
It has as many noses as there are days in the year. Every day that passes he loses a nose, but at the beginning of the year, he has 365 noses again.

Quarantamaula
An elusive and monstrous half-rooster cat, who usually goes around the roofs picking up children and throwing stones at the windows.

The bogeyman
He goes through the towns with his bag on his back, to put inside and take away all the boys and girls who misbehave.

Bubota
Ghost with sheet and pumpkin head, which you can find on the roads and can give you a good surprise, although ours is very pretty.

Moro Musa
Be careful if you go too far from your home, that the Moor Musa can take you if you roam the roads after hours.

Fantastic animals
If you ever pass by Roteros Street and hear strange animal noises, do not be afraid. There is 'la casa de les Roques' where unusual animals live, such as the Dragon, the Tarasca and the Cucafera. But calm and quiet: they have only been out on the streets on Corpus Christi for many years.

Apart from them, my grandfather told me that there are other animals that are part of legends and turn out to be extraordinary. The two that I liked the most were Caro, a shepherd locked in the body of a sparrow, and Serp Sanxa, the largest reptile in Albufera that had a big heart. Impressive, isn't it?.

Giants
Outside the towns and the city live huge characters, the giants.

They have their home in the mountains and forests of Valencia, Castellón and Alicante, surrounded by nature, where hidden from the eyes of all, they keep treasures and help walkers.

But do you know the strongest and kindest giant? He is the Tombatossals who helped the men and women of the neighboring province to found a new city: Castellón de la Plana.

She went to the other world with a skirt full of pockets full of money, since then everyone has been looking for the grave of the saving granny.

Queixalets
Legends say that an old malignant woman and her little one in diapers with huge wild boar tusks, roamed the laundry rooms of the towns, better not to approach... .

Gblin put names
Scholar and in charge of giving names and nicknames to people, roads, houses and farmhouses in the orchard.

Witches
Very close to where we are there is a dangerous street that is closed with a fence every night. It is the narrow street of the Almodi, or as everyone calls it, the street of the Witches.
Here we can find witches and also sorcerers who know a lot about magic, enchantments and herbs. Thanks to their wisdom, they are able to make bomb-proof infatuation potions. Awesome, huh?

Now, if we walk through the streets of Cabañal, we will meet their first cousins but with the peculiarity that they fly out at night by boat, that is why people know them as the Marine Witches. Shall we accompany them?.
